Welcome to our first online challenge! I'm sure I'll have some things to figure out along the way, but I figured we could have a little fun along the way!
Our first Challenge begins right now! Entries will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. on 8/15/10. We have a few very simple rules to start:
- You must be a follower...so if you aren't already just sign on! :-)
- One entry per person please.
- We'll add more as needed :-). Let's have fun!
With Summer ending let's give it one last hoorah! Show us your take on Summer 2010 in a layout, card, or altered item.
Use at least 5 (of the following) different design elements in your project: flowers, buttons, ribbon, twill, twine, corrugated board, eyelets, brads, boshers, rhinestones, or stamped images.
Winner will be chosen on August 16 & will receive a prize package valued at $20 or more!

I have been working on a layout all afternoon and it is done...but I cannot seem to get it posted. I do not have a blog. Saved a pic of the layout to photobucket but cannot get the thing to post. Will keep trying....may post it to the facebook page because I cannot get the photobucket links to work here. --Joanna
Hi Everyone! I gave up trying to post my layout pic here. None of my photobucket links would work - just kept getting error messages. I put it on the store's Facebook page instead so it would be in before the deadline. Thanks for the fun challenge, Ivy! --Joanna
Took a little bit just to post, but finally got it. I was able to use a stamped image, ribbon, eyelets, a button, flowers and rhinestones. Would have been up sooner, but my hubby was trying to link it through his site cause the image seemed to look better, but posted it to my blog as well.

Thank you ladies for all of your beautiful crafting projects! I really appreciate you all taking the time to have a little fun with us! we will have a challenge at least once a month. You all are the pioneers of our online challenges so I expect nothing less each month ;-). If you ladies have any suggestions to others on how to post their images please let them know here :-). Thank you for your help!
