Chomas Silhouette Engraving Tip

There are so many new lines in stock here it's hard to pick any fav's!  I must say that I really do think that Heidi Swapp's new Sugar Chic line is right up my alley! I love the embellishments & color palette.

I also love Bella Blvd.'s new baby lines! Baby Boy, Baby Girl & Expecting!  I couldn't resist ordering all three lines in FULL.  Did you know that K & Co. also came out with a Baby themed smash book?! We have em! :-)

Simple Stories never disappoint.  They have several new lines that are in stock now, too. The first is FabUlous.  It's a great girly line that's young & fun!  AwesoME is a great boy line! It's always so hard to find that in between baby boy & grown man paper.  AwesoME hits the nail right on the head! Documented is a wonderful family line that you can scrapbook just about anything! This line could easily go vintage OR modern! There aren't many lines that can accomplish that!

There are so many!!! I haven't even touched the tip of the iceburg, but I'd better get back to unpacking boxes...I have a feeling I might be seeing you soon! :-)

Oh My Shamrocks!!! March is National Craft Month!

March is a great month, and not just for the Shamrock shakes. :-) Did you know that March is National Craft Month?
Whether you scrapbook, make cards, home decor, sew, knit, make jewelry or any number of other crafts, this is the month for you! During National Craft Month, think about why you like to craft. What do you hope to craft this month? Plan to attend an event at your favorite craft supply boutique...Scrappin' Happily Ever After! Bring a project or two to the crop this month to share, be creative in the moment, stock up on the newest products, or just come be inspired by others.
There are some great events on the S.H.E.A calendar! Watch out for the Silhouette workshops!  Ivy sets workshops each month! She just finished a series of classes held on Saturday, March 10th and Sunday, March 11th.   The workshops are all designed to help you navigate and use your Silhouette machine and software better. Whether you have been using your Silhouette for a while or have a brand new machine, these workshops are helpful. Call Ivy for details on what will be covered in each of the workshops. Each class is different, so you are welcome to sign up for all or just one. These classes have a very limited number of seats and fill VERY quickly. Pre-registration is required.
My FAVORITE weekend of the month will fall on St.Patrick's Day this year. What weekend is that, you ask? The S.H.E.A Crop of course! We know Ivy can throw a good crop; there is always good food, lots of fun, and wonderful prizes, but this one is going to be REALLY good. If you have not checked out the S.H.E.A calendar, check out the crop details (really..you must check it out as soon as you finish reading this blog entry :-). It is Ivy's first big crop of the year! Did I hear a little Woohoo or Yippee out there? You will want to wear both green, as well as have a bit of the luck of the Irish at the crop this month. The big raffle prize is going to be a BRAND NEW SILHOUETTE CAMEO! You don't have to be Irish to win, but you do have to be present. The odds are always good due to the size of the crops. If you already own a Cameo and win the big prize, there is a great alternate prize full of Silhouette goodies up for grabs. Call now to reserve your spot before all the seats are gone!

But wait, there's more.... The not so secret - Top Secret Card Swap is Sunday, March 18th. This is a great way to share your love of crafting during National Craft Month, and go home with some great cards to use when you need one, or just add to your collection. Mood Photography is also back this month to help you master photography (Sunday, March 25th). Learn how to preserve memories by taking great photos. Keep an eye out for more photography and PhotoShop workshops next month.
Now that you are all caught up on the upcoming events, I'm off to get a Shamrock shake. Craft with you later! - Joanna

Just Having FUN!

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, I visited a local store to purchase a card for my honey (I know, I know...I should be ashamed, but my time is very limited so please forgive me!).  Needless to say, I put them all back, because the average price of a card seemed to be about $8!!!  These weren't singing cards, they didn't dance or even mail themselves! LOL!  Since they have more of a handmade look to them, they have decided to make the price between $8-$12.  I decided to take the time to create a card or two for my Valentine after seeing these ridiculous prices.  One plus...my Cameo made it 100 x's easier!  I created these cards using some of the files directly from the Silhouette Online Store.  I added/changed a few things , but I think they turned out great & with very little effort (not that my guy isn't worth the effort).

The Cameo journals beautifully with pens, too!
The detailed cuts that you can create yourself add a personal touch!

Check out the online store for entire card kits and or layouts that are already designed for you! It's pretty cool to be able to complete entire projects in a limited amount of time.

I also SHOPPED for some GREAT NEW GOODIES that will begin arriving SOON!  A few of the FABULOUS things scheduled to arrive soon are:

My Mind's Eye : "Miss Caroline" and "The Bright Side"

Check this link out to see snippets of the entire lines:
The newest templates from The Crafter's Workshop are already here!

We have new lines arriving from Bo Bunny, Echo Park, Graphic 45, Little Yellow Bicycle, Jillibean Soup, Fancy Pants, Heidi Swapp, Impression Obsession, Canvas Corp. & LOTS MORE!!!  For those of you that don't know what that means...we need to make room...LOL!  Stay tuned! :-)

If you haven't had time to check out our Alcohol Ink Promarker classes here is a sneak peak at what you've been missing...
Alcohol Ink Promarkers are available at Scrappin Happily ever After in 148 colors!

the colors are bright and they blend easily!

These adorable stamps are also available!
We added an action wobble to this lovable owl!

Needless to say, I've been a busy bee!  I've updated our Bazzill selection and added over 30 new colors and replenished some of our other favorites!  Some of the new colors have been specially selected to coordinate with some of our new lines coming in!
Did I mention our Action Wobbles are finally back in stock?!  These are a great addition to any project!  They bring an instant smile.  If you haven't seen these in action, you are certainly missing out!  We'll be happy to bring a smile to your face and show you! :-)
Whew! I think that's about it for now! :-)  Check back for updates soon!

What Do You Love About Your Silhouette?

Hi Everyone -
So the question is "What do you love about your silhouette?" Don't worry, I don't mean your personal, physical silhouette. Me, I have a love/hate relationship with that silhouette. The silhouette I am referring to is the Silhouette Cameo. I find it is much easier to love!

Looking around the January crop, I noticed how many of us were actively using our personal die cut machines. Since last Fall, several of you have purchased the Silhouette Cameo. For some, they may be still in the box. Others have taken a look at their machine and done a few cuts. Some of you have not stopped learning about your new machine since you first got it out. I loved seeing all the experimentation and sharing of ideas and information at the crop between our crafting group! Many Cameo owners also have Cricut machines as well. Whether you love your Cricut, your Cameo, or both, it is undeniable that the world of paper crafting has changed dramatically with the addition of personal die cutting machines.

We know these machines can do so much. Whether it is a Cameo, Cricut, or some other die-cutting machine, tell us what you love about your machine. Comment below to tell us the following:

  • What is your number one, absolute, favorite thing you can do with your machine?

  • What is one thing you would like to know about or do with your machine that you have not yet done and/or mastered?

Also, if you have not looked at the SHEA Calendar recently, Ivy has added some fantastic Silhouette classes on Saturday, February 11th  to help you learn about all the marvelous tools and features of your Cameo! If you do not yet have a Silhouette, and want to learn more, give Ivy a call. She loves (I mean LOVES) her Silhouette Cameo, and is a great source of information if you are trying to decide which die-cutting machine will work best for your needs.

Happy New Year!

Oh My! I let the hustle & bustle of the Holidays take over! I didn't realize how much time has actually passed since I last posted.  I once again apologize, but I know you all understand.  I thank you for that :-).  With that being said...My holidays were absolutely wonderfully blessed!  I enjoyed my family and friends so much!!!  I hope all of yours were just as wonderful!

There is so much to update...where do I begin???  Since the release of the newest edition to the Silhouette family, the Silhouette CAMEO, we have played more than ever!!!  I'm not sure if it is possible to be in love with an inanimate object, but if it is...I'M HOOKED!  We sell out of them before I can get the shipment back in each time!  The possibilities with this machine are limitless.  You all know how I am with cost...lowest price...highest quality...and YES- they deliver!!!  If you haven't seen this little baby in action, swing by the shop! I'm ALWAYS happy to show my girl off!!! :-)  You will be AMAZED at the possibilities!  We also have classes and FREE crops! Check out their blog and Pintrest pages to see some of the awesome projects people round the globe are creating!

Not only did we add the Silhouette CAMEO and an entire line of Silhouette products to our current inventory, I also brought in the Letraset PROMARKERS!  These are absolutely FABULOUS!  These are alcohol based markers similar to Copic markers.  These markers pack a powerful punch at a more than reasonable price! Come check out some of the things we're doing with them!  You don't have to be a graphic artist to use them either.  We have a class on them a little later this month! Come join us for some fun!

My Mind's Eye Kraft Fun Day & Love Me are currently in stock and AVAILABLE!

As many of you may be aware, CHA is right around the corner and YES - I've already started placing pre-orders!  I'll update more soon! ;-)
