Super Duper Size November Blog Post

Thanksgiving dinner is not the only thing you will have Super Sized this month!  Due to all the news, this will be your Super Duper Size Blog Post for November.  It is chock full of information regarding card making opportunities, great new products, and news you do not want to miss!  Read on!!!

First and foremost, Thanksgiving is the time of year where people tend to reflect on what they are thankful for and get into the spirit of giving and helping others.  In the spirit of the season, I encourage you to consider a great opportunity being presented by the Charleston Chapter of the American Council for the Blind (ACB).  Stop by Scrappin’ Happily Ever After to support the ACB and make a donation. Not only would you be helping a great organization, but you will also earn the chance to win a brand new Silhouette Cameo.  A $5 donation earns you a chance to win.  A $10 donation earns you three chances to win!  Even if you do not need a new Cameo, consider making a donation to the ACB when you go in to do your pre-Thanksgiving shopping at S.H.E.A.  Donations will be collected through December 7th.  The ACB will be collecting the donations, and will notify Ivy of the drawing winner on December 8th.

If you have some time this weekend and want to get your holiday cards made, stop by S.H.E.A on Sunday, November 11th for the 2nd “Card Salad.”  This card salad will focus primarily on Thanksgiving & Christmas Cards though you get to customize your projects.  There will be an array of cards set on display, and you decide what you want to create. You purchase your supplies for the cards you want to create.  Make one or make 10 of each card or make them all from the same one...whatever you decide is just fine!  Change your papers or design it exactly as shown...your choice!  Check out the calendar on the blog for more details on cost, what is provided and what you need to bring.

Ivy has been busy bringing in new products, and do you know what that means?  The clearance section has tons of fresh inventory.  You will find that school papers, Graphic 45, and holiday papers have all found their way into the clearance section.  She was still working on putting new stuff out when I left today, so who knows what else will be in the clearance section.

Okay, so back to the part above about Ivy putting out new products. There is so much wonderful new product in the store.  I wanted to give you a good sampling of some of the new things you will find at S.H.E.A.

Do you love the BOBUNNY DOTS paper?  It has been super popular, and now in stock are the 6x6 pads of this great paper.

The weather this week has reminded us that Summer is over.  The briskness in the air and the turning leaves on the tree fit right in with the great Fall and Thanksgiving lines at S.H.E.A.

The BOBUNNY APPLE CIDER line is both charming and somewhat whimsical.  Not only are their fabulous papers, but check out the coordinating embellishments.

For a more classic Fall line, do not miss AUTHENTIQUE’S THANKFUL line.  Beyond Thanksgiving, the beautiful browns, golds, and rusts in this line would make some beautiful everyday layouts as well.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at S.H.E.A.  In addition to the wonderful Fall lines, several of the new Christmas and Holiday lines are filling up the paper trays.

The playful side of BOBUNNY brings us MISTLETOE.  It is a fun, fresh, imaginative line that would be perfect for cards and layouts.

The more traditional side of BOBUNNY brings us REJOICE.  Like all the BoBunny lines, there are fantastic stickers, coordinating pieces, and embellishments for each of the holiday lines.

For those of you who have loved Margie Romney-Aslett’s previous lines (she brought us the beautiful Girl’s Paperie line, and also some of the first Authentique lines), Ivy has followed Margie’s creative talents to her new home – BAZZILL.  Check out the delightful BELIEVE line of patterned papers and embellishments below.  The color story of this line is classic and because it is from Bazzill, it coordinates perfectly with the Bazzill cardstock! (Note that the Advent Calendar Box at S.H.E.A will be done using this paper this year).

If that was not enough, the BASIC GREY winter line – ASPEN FROST is also in stock at S.H.E.A.  In addition to the paper collection and embellishments we love from Basic Grey, there is also a fantabulous card kit for those that need a bit of help with their cards this year.

Speaking of cards.  You can find all your card making items at S.H.E.A.  In addition to the paper, the embellishments, and the bling, there is a wide assortment of blank cards and coordinating envelopes to get you started on your card projects.

One more paper line sneak peek.  GRAPHIC45 has a fantastic new calendar line called PLACE IN TIME.  This image does not do the line justice.  There are coordinating papers/embellishments for every month of the year.  You have to see it for yourself.
Also in stock are several new products to use with your Silhoutte Cameo including new colors in heat transfer and the vinyl bins are all restocked.  Clear transfer paper is also in stock.  Don’t forget the metallic foil paper from Silhouette.  It is perfect for many of your holiday projects!

There are new Spellbinders, new embossing folders, and great new stamps from Donna Salazar and Fawn Lawn.  I almost forgot the new Washi adhesive paper sheets.  Yes, you heard that right.  The Washi tape we all love is now available in full size 12X12 sheets.  We can customize it to our liking.  Awesome!

So much is happening and new, you MUST stop by S.H.E.A and see it for yourself.  If not this weekend, make sure you stop by next week for the HOT PINK HOLIDAY SALE.  Rather than one Pink Friday this year, there will be 3 FULL DAYS OF HUGE SALES.  There is some information about the sale on the calendar.  Keep an eye out for an email to arrive before the store opens on Tuesday with specific sale details.  Ivy hopes to see you there, but if you are not able to come, don’t miss the sale.  She will take phone orders and pull product for you if you cannot get in.

Whew…that was a lot.  I told you this blog post was super duper sized!

Happy Crafting!

Definitely want to see what is new and what is out. That way if you cannot stop by, you can call in orders during the big sale. That is my plan! So much great stuff is being put out for the Holiday projects. I did my cards with the beautiful Simple Stories Christmas line. Now I am drooling over BoBunny's Mistletoe line. Thinking that will be the holiday layouts. :-)
