Oh My Shamrocks!!! March is National Craft Month!

March is a great month, and not just for the Shamrock shakes. :-) Did you know that March is National Craft Month?
Whether you scrapbook, make cards, home decor, sew, knit, make jewelry or any number of other crafts, this is the month for you! During National Craft Month, think about why you like to craft. What do you hope to craft this month? Plan to attend an event at your favorite craft supply boutique...Scrappin' Happily Ever After! Bring a project or two to the crop this month to share, be creative in the moment, stock up on the newest products, or just come be inspired by others.

There are some great events on the S.H.E.A calendar! Watch out for the Silhouette workshops!  Ivy sets workshops each month! She just finished a series of classes held on Saturday, March 10^th and Sunday, March 11^th.   The workshops are all designed to help you navigate and use your Silhouette machine and software better. Whether you have been using your Silhouette for a while or have a brand new machine, these workshops are helpful. Call Ivy for details on what will be covered in each of the workshops. Each class is different, so you are welcome to sign up for all or just one. These classes have a very limited number of seats and fill VERY quickly. Pre-registration is required.

My FAVORITE weekend of the month will fall on St.Patrick's Day this year. What weekend is that, you ask? The S.H.E.A Crop of course! We know Ivy can throw a good crop; there is always good food, lots of fun, and wonderful prizes, but this one is going to be REALLY good. If you have not checked out the S.H.E.A calendar, check out the crop details (really..you must check it out as soon as you finish reading this blog entry :-). It is Ivy's first big crop of the year! Did I hear a little Woohoo or Yippee out there? You will want to wear both green, as well as have a bit of the luck of the Irish at the crop this month. The big raffle prize is going to be a BRAND NEW SILHOUETTE CAMEO! You don't have to be Irish to win, but you do have to be present. The odds are always good due to the size of the crops. If you already own a Cameo and win the big prize, there is a great alternate prize full of Silhouette goodies up for grabs. Call now to reserve your spot before all the seats are gone!

But wait, there's more.... The not so secret - Top Secret Card Swap is Sunday, March 18^th. This is a great way to share your love of crafting during National Craft Month, and go home with some great cards to use when you need one, or just add to your collection. Mood Photography is also back this month to help you master photography (Sunday, March 25^th). Learn how to preserve memories by taking great photos. Keep an eye out for more photography and PhotoShop workshops next month.
